Cowboy’s Smoke & Mirrors comes from lived experience. I write from the things I’ve actually lived through — the people I’ve loved, the places I’ve been, the moments that changed me, and the truths I’ve had to learn along the way.

This song lives in the space between image and reality. It’s about the moment the picture you believed in starts to crack — when you realize that what you were seeing was an illusion, and the person in front of you is not who you thought they were.

There’s anger in that realization, but there’s also clarity. Cowboy’s Smoke & Mirrors is the moment you stop second-guessing what you see, trust yourself again, and begin to walk away from the illusion.

Like all of my music, this chapter began with something real. I turn lived stories into songs — taking the things I’ve loved, lost, learned and survived and giving them another life through music.
